KERRVILLE, Texas (AP) — Rescue crews in Texas kept a wary eye on river levels Monday, hoping to resume the search for people still missing from catastrophic flooding that pummeled the central part of the state earlier this month and killed at least 132 people.

A slow-moving storm set off flood warnings in several regions of the Hill Country, including Kerr County, the area hit hardest by the July 4 floods.

As heavy rains led to heartbreaking losses at a Texas girls camp, other parts of the state were swamped over the July 4 weekend.
