Suzanne Collins gave her readers a huge gift in returning to the world of The Hunger Games series, the first three books of which she wrote in 2008, 2009 and 2010, for the prequel story of one Haymitch Abernathy.

The Hunger Games prequel Sunrise on The Reaping will have McKenna Grace star as Maysilee Donner. The casting news comes one day after actors Joseph Zada and Whitney Peak were confirmed to join.

Zada is an Australian actor who will also star in Prime Video's "We Were Liars," a show based off the book by E. Lockhart. Peak, a Canadian actress, is known for her roles in HBO's revival of "Gossip Girl," Netflix's "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" and Disney+'s "Hocus Pocus 2."
