A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the stabbing of a man in east Bristol. Officers arrested a 32-year-old man on Saturday afternoon in Eastville, Bristol, and he has been taken into custody.

Syracuse Police officers were called to the 1000 block of South McBride Street for a report of a stabbing involving two victims. According to police, the stabbing happened around 2:51 p.m. on Saturday.

The victim, a 31-year-old New Bedford woman, died after being found in her apartment with apparent stab wounds.
