On Friday, St. Christopher's School (Va.) interior offensive lineman Darius Gray announced his commitment to the South Carolina Gamecocks – telling Ohio State, Clemson, and Tennessee "thanks, but no thanks".

Fawcett noted Gray chose South Carolina over LSU, Tennessee, Clemson and Ohio State. Landing someone this talented is a victory in and of itself, but that this recruiting win came over conference rivals in LSU and Tennessee made it all the more noteworthy for the Gamecocks.
