Around four shooters opened fire at a New York City restaurant early Sunday, resulting in three deaths and eight injuries. According to police, the violence is gang-related.

Wilky Vladimil Toribio Perez was shot in the left shoulder on Pine St. near Etna St. in Cypress Hills around 2:25 a.m. Aug. 10, police said.

Speaking with reporters at a canvass launch event in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NYC Democratic mayoral candidate, Zohran Mamdani, called the shooting "another example of the scourge of gun violence" in New York City.
