Hill is commanding officer of USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, which is undergoing scheduled maintenance at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, following a nine-month deployment that ended last July. The moves come in the wake of last week's collision between the Truman and a merchant vessel in the Mediterranean Sea off Egypt near the entrance to the Suez Canal.
