Michael Strahan is firing back at the outrage surrounding his stance on the national anthem on Sunday. Strahan is finally speaking out after angry fans called for his termination following his decision not to place his hand over his heart at the San Diego Naval Base ahead of Veterans Day.

Michael Strahan's stance during the national anthem on Sunday may have been one of the most-discussed topics coming out of Week 10 in the NFL. The football Hall of Famer and current NFL on Fox analyst was the subject of controversy when he was seen standing with his hands embraced in front of him while "The Star-Spangled Banner" played.

Though Strahan wasn't in strict adherence to the U.S. Flag Code, he presented himself as a respectful American citizen in every other way.
