Kids and their families swarmed Kinnick Stadium Saturday for the chance to meet some players and have some of their favorite Hawkeye gear signed by players and coaches. The day also provides a chance for the 2025 Kid Captains to meet the team and get their own personal tour of the stadium.

Iowa football is three weeks away from kicking off the 2025 season. The Hawkeyes lost some key veterans to the NFL draft, but have added standout guys to their roster this season. One of the biggest names out of them all is South Dakota State transfer quarterback Mark Gronowski.

Since 2020, the Hawkeyes haven't averaged more than 200 passing yards per game in a single season. Two hundred passing yards in a game is a bad performance for most offenses, but for Iowa, that's been a bar they can't pass. Literally. But, they're hoping things can be different in 2025.
