Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski surprisingly praised Washington Commanders rookie Jayden Daniels ahead of Thursday night's NFC East showdown.

The Eagles are coming off a laugher in Dallas while the Commanders were in a slugfest with the Steelers right down to the bitter end. That means Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown and company sat out the fourth quarter. That gives the Eagles the ultimate tiebreaker in a short week: Rest.

Jayden Daniels ran just three times for five yards in the Commanders’ loss to the Steelers, and the rookie QB’s legs hadn’t been neutralized like that in years.
