Sankey addressed several hot-button issues during his state-of-the-conference address Monday at SEC media days in Atlanta.

"Let me be clear -- college athletics is not broken, but it is strained," SEC commissioner Greg Sankey said during his opening address to kick off the conference's media days in Atlanta Monday morning.

Sankey said Playoff expansion is not a done deal, and it appears the SEC and Big Ten disagree on a preferred 16-team format.
