Georgia lost to Mississippi and put its College Football Playoff hopes in jeopardy but the Bulldogs remain part of this week's bracket projection.

No. 6 Tennessee at No. 11 Georgia — the main event on the Week 12 college football schedule — could have major implications for the Southeastern Conference in the chase for College Football Playoff spots.

The Georgia Bulldogs suffered their second loss of the 2024 season this past Saturday as they were handled by the Ole Miss Rebels on the road. The loss was the Dawgs' first loss to a team not named Alabama since November of the 2020 football season and will sure cause the Bulldogs to plummet in tonight's rankings.
