As Los Angeles residents shift from emergency to recovery mode after the pair of devastating wildfires, crews are well on their way to full containment of the blazes. According to the latest numbers released by Cal Fire,

Containment of the Eaton Fire has risen to 73% as firefighter take advantage of a slight break from Santa Ana wind conditions. Meanwhile, the death toll attributed to the fire has risen to 17, according to the L.

Containment is growing on the Los Angeles County wildfires, but it may be a long time before residents in the burn areas will be allowed back home.
