The Jets, doomed by Achilles injuries in 2023 ( Aaron Rodgers) and 1999 (Vinny Testaverde), could benefit greatly from last week's season-ending injury to Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones.
Could the Colts make a sizable move this offseason at the quarterback position after Daniel Jones' Achilles injury?
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones could potentially be wearing purple and gold by the time he returns from his season-ending Achilles injury.
Daniel Jones underwent surgery that is expected to sideline him for 6-8 months, giving the Colts QB the ability to be fully cleared for the start of next summer's training camp, sources told ESPN.
"Thank you to my teammates, coaches, the Colts organization, and all the fans for the overwhelming support," Jones wrote. "Tough way to end this season but it has been an honor to wear the horseshoe and play for Colts fans. I’ll miss lining up with my guys, but I’ll be riding with them every step of the way. Go Colts!"
The Indianapolis Colts didn’t wait for Daniel Jones to start his rehab before disrespecting him. After leading Indianapolis to a 7-5 record, the former Giants quarterback suffered a season-ending injury in Week 14.
