Nigeria's state oil firm, NNPC Ltd said on Wednesday one of its subsidiaries has agreed to supply 100 million standard cubic feet of gas per day to the Dangote oil refinery for the next 10 years.

NNPC, through its subsidiary, NGML, has entered a pact with with Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE for the supply of gas for 10 years.

Under the terms of the agreement, NGML will provide a firm daily supply of 50MMSCF/D, with an additional 50MMSCF/D as interruptible gas, over an initial 10-year period, with options for renewal.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Gas Marketing Limited, a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, has secured a gas sale and purchase agreement with Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals.
