The Boston Red Sox confirmed that two fans were ejected from Fenway Park during Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins for shouting inappropriate comments at Miami Marlins' outfielder Dane Myers, per Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe.

BOSTON (AP) — Marlins right fielder Dane Myers felt like a fan at Fenway Park was heckling him beyond what was appropriate, verbal abuse that began before he hit a tying homer in the ninth inning to help Miami rally past the Boston Red Sox on Sunday.

Myers had an eventful day. He nearly stole a two-run homer away from Wilyer Abreu in the fourth inning but the ball popped out of his glove and fell into the visitors bullpen. He also hit a game-tying solo home run off Greg Weissert leading off the ninth inning.
