The Crimson Tide will hold its second 2025 preseason camp scrimmage on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Alabama will open the season on the road, with an Aug. 30 trip to Tallahassee, to face Florida State. UA was ranked No. 8 in both the AP media and coaches preseason top 25 polls.
However, ESPN’s Mark Schlabach and Kyle Bonagura believed the Crimson Tide would have a much better season in 2025. They both predicted Alabama would make the College Football Playoff. Schlabach had Alabama as the No. 6 seed, while Bonagura put the Crimson Tide down as the No. 7 seed.
