A Cincinnati Open intern has died after a tragic accident Tuesday night as the tournament wrapped up. It happened just before 11 p.m. at the tennis center. Mason police say Joshua Darst fell from some sort of "motor cart" near a loading dock. Darst was rushed to West Chester Hospital, where he later died.

The Mason Police Department says officers and EMS personnel received a call at 10:58 p.m. Monday for a report of a man who fell off a motorized cart near the loading dock at the Linder Family Tennis Center.
The intern who died after falling from a cart was about to start his senior year at college and had an "empathic streak a mile wide," his pastor said.
