Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, along with five cabinet ministers, took the oath of office on Saturday and requested people to ensure that her predecessor, Arvind Kejriwal, returns to the top post again

Along with Atishi, five cabinet ministers -- four from the previous ministry and a new face -- were also sworn in during the ceremony. Atishi’s new council of ministers includes Gopal Rai, Kailash Gahlot, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Imran Hussain, and new entrant Mukesh Ahlawat, a first-time MLA from Sultanpur Majra.

BJP leaders extended their best wishes to Atishi on becoming the chief minister of Delhi but expressed skepticism about any positive change. They criticized her past performance and anticipated continued issues under her leadership.

Atishi, sworn in as Delhi's new Chief Minister along with five cabinet ministers, urged the public to ensure Arvind Kejriwal's return. She criticized the BJP for conspiring against him and highlighted Kejriwal's contributions.

The Kalkaji MLA's name was proposed by Kejriwal, who tendered his resignation as Chief Minister, for the top post.

Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi took oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi on Saturday. The oath of office and secrecy was administered to Atishi and her cabinet ministers by Lt Governor (LG) Vinay Kumar Saxena at the Raj Niwas.

Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta on Saturday asserted that people of the national capital had finally been liberated from Arvind Kejriwal after Atishi took oath as the new Chief Minister.

In her first remarks after taking oath, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi hit out at the BJP on Saturday for hatching a "conspiracy" against her predecessor Arvind Kejriwal and urged the people of the capital to ensure that the AAP national convenor returns to the top post again after the Assembly polls due early next year.
