Hi, yes it is safe but still be cautious, my 3 yr. old daughter fed the giraffe although i constantly remind her to be careful they have sticks so no need to worry about the giraffe accidentally biting the child’s finger. If traveling with an infant, suggest to bring mosquito spray to prevent any possible insect bites. Best time to visit around December - January as the weather in khao Yai drop a bit during this season.
