Is Friday less crowded than Saturday? Also, is it really so crowded that I would need to pay extra for Reserved Parking? Any suggestions/pointers for 1st-timers are appreciated.

There are three levels of season passes, silver, gold and platinum. Gold is best option and is about $245 normally. Dollywood is very supportive of military and offers better discounts than most. You have to enter you're proof of being in military on website to get pricing.
